This is a site dedicated to nature photos. Nature photos, in my opinion, are one of the better photos out there.

Photography links
The first link is to NationalGeographic.com. I chose that site because it's not only photos from here in America, but you can see photos from all over the world. They are from regular people like you and I and from journalist, reporters and such. I think that it is neat to be able to see how anybody in this world sees their world. Seeing that it is National Geographic, I think that it is a pretty credible site.
The photography blog, Michael Chiara's photo experience, Michael Chiara captures life in real moments. In one particular photo, he has taken a picture of a little baby girl. The pictures ae mainly of his daughter, buildings, and scenes of nature blending with city-life.
The blog link I chose is run by a guy who posts his own pictures. I really love the one with the little baby girl. Very sweet. You are able to see the photographer in her eyes. You are actually able to see the world she is seeing. You see the "world through her eyes." It's pretty cool. Anyway, go check 'em out. They are in my Links section.

My Photos and a Photo From Another Site
This first picture is my own. I took at youth group during worship. If you look close enough, the only things that are blurry are the lights and reflecting light.
(Took photo down)
This second pic is my own as well. I took this near my house. I love taking nature photos, especially ones like this. I did this to represent God's call. And you are able to read the words either way, and still have meaning. "Follow me, trust me" "Me trust, me follow" I thought that was pretty neat.
(Took photo down)
This last pic I took is pretty self-explanitory. I represents my life before I became Christian, or made the decisions I have now made in my life. I am now an adult, so I, no one else is responsible for me.
(if you wanted to see my photos go to: Irawkthemic4God.blogspot.com)
I chose this photo because I really love sunlight pictures. I am just fasinated by what you can graps from photos with light. Sometimes you may not get anything,b ut it's very enjoyable to look at.

The Way I Tick...
(inventory of being)
My name is Shellie
I am 19 years old
I am strong,
But weak
I am a chick breaking out of her shell
I have orange-brown eyes
I am beautiful
But I am far from being vain
However, I love my hair
I am faithful
I love God, Jesus Christ
I have a disfunctional family
I love the sunrise
And sunset
I love to sing
Music is my life
I love the ocean
The River of life
I like suckers
But Love Chocolate
I am finding who I am
No one can take that away from me
I hope for love
I hope for family
I am whole
I hope for additions
I believe that God is my father
His promises to me
They will come true
I know people commit suicide
I don't understand how others are okay with it
I know childhoods can suck
I don't understand how people hold onto that pain
I know why they don't move on
I've been there
Control
It's all about control
And fear
Afraid of being free
Now I am free
Ask me why...
Christ.
My mom,
I love her dearly
My hero if Jesus
Willing to stand in the pain
For... me...
Anybody...!
I hate the devil
he is not worthy of a capitol
I hate candy apples
I hate mold
I hate molesters
Or who they have become
They are humans, too
Just rotten ones...
I can't live without God
Music is my soul
I could never live without pen and paper
Poems and songs are my soul
I would like to meet Superwoman
She's not my fictional hero
But she is AWESOME
Girl power!
If I was rich,
I would Clothe and feed the world.
I wish I had a mustang
Someday I will
I wish loneliness didn't visit me
But then I remember the love of my friends
I love receiving Easter baskets
I'd be crushed without one
I almost was this year
I wonder how the mind ticks
My destiny is to serve the Lord
Working with the youth
I will be a psychologist
It's my destiny
I once was a Rashelle
But now...
My name is Shellie

Poems and a SuperChick Song
Hold on
Submitted by Julie Hobson 1 y. 134 d. 0 h. 16 m. ago
Category: Poems
Hold onto
The heartbeat
Of the world
Of the tiniest soul
Feel it in the palm
Of our filthy hands
Sickening to the touch
From what lives we hurt
Scrambling to resemble the ones
Who always fell
Under the reality of the world
Who never show the tears
That are so trueSo real
Where did our innocence go?
Why do we always forget
What love really means?
I felt the earth spin
Beneath my uneasy feet
And it will always go that way
No matter how hard we try
There will always be an ending
And there will always be some hope
Something to hold onto
What future is mine?
Mine in which to take
All I ever had was the heartbeat
And it’s fading
So fastHold on

Moving On
Moving On
I am moving onreaching toward my hopes and dreams
It has taken me far too long
to reach this place, it seems
My fears may try to hold me back
To try and block my way
But with courage and faith in my heart
I will get there come what may
The road will be a long one,
And it may be rocky, too
But when I reach this place in time,
My dreams could all shine through
I am coming nearer to my goals
And my excitement grows
The plans I have made will soon be real
Along with the destiny I chose
Though I have been tossed and turned in life's storms
I will surely see a brighter dawn
I'm no longer held back by my fears
I'm finally....Moving On
by Alan Murray
Like it says in the poem, even though it may be scary I need to press on. I can't let fear hold me back. I guess this is a decleration of kind. I am very excited to were I am going. I'm excited that I'll have a place of my own. It may seem hopeless now, but in the end the hopeless feeling will have seemed silly. Because, in the end in will turn out fine.

Never Alone
By BarlowGirl
I waited for you today
But you didn't show
No no no.
I needed you today
So where did you go?
You told me to call
Said you'd be there
And though I haven't seen you
Are you still there?
Chorus
I cried out with no reply
And I can't feel you by my side
So I'll hold tight to what I know
You're here and I'm never alone
And though I cannot see you
And I can't explain why
Such a deep reassurance
You've placed in my life.
We cannot separate
'Cause you're part of me.
And though you're invisible
I'll trust the unseen.
I chose this song, because I find that in the past and even now, that it is hard to believe that God is there. Sometimes it feels like I am on my own, as if He is not there helping me. Yet, I know that He is always there, even when it doesn't feel like He is there. I have to "trust the unseen." This song expresses the pain and confusion that she is going through. Loneliness is something we all experience, and this song I feel, portrays it quite well. The song is saying that even though it feels like the end, you still need to hold on and not give up.
